Microsoft 365 E# license sold by reseller not allowing me to sign in as admin or change identity

I purchased a E3 license from reseller Prime Software. When I was provided the details to for my account, I was told to login with an email address that was not mine and a password. I went through the steps and now find that I can't change my account details to match my real name or other contact information. It states that I am not Admin. How can I not be an Admin to my own license? Carrying this question further, when I go to SharePoint, I'm not Admin. So any files I put on this site would be accessible by whomever is admin. This sounds like a security breach.

From your shared details, we have checked and your account don’t have global admin access. We do understand your situation but as you purchased Microsoft365 subscription from partner (reseller Prime software), so you need to contact them to let know admin account details for your tenant or give admin permission to your account. This is required because your Microsoft365 account managed by partner. Further as we are belongs from Microsoft365 community team, so we don’t have that resources and permission to allow global admin rights to any user and change contact information for any user.

 

If partner is not able to resolve your issue, you can tell them to contact our technical team on behalf of you. For this, you can also refer information provided in contacting Microsoft support from here.
