Microsoft 2021 issues after update

Since the license for Microsoft Office 2021 is associated with your account, I would recommend that you follow the steps below to reset your Office, and after resetting Office, log back into your Microsoft account, which will reload your account profile and license, and let's see if the issue will remain.

Here are the detailed steps:

Press Windows + R, in the open run box, type: regedit, press enter.

Locate the following keys, rename the Office folder (right-click it, select Rename, such as Office renamed Officeold)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office

Then re-open the word document to try the effect.
