I suggest you refer to the steps below to troubleshoot this issue.
1. Re-run Azure AD Connect wizard, make sure the checkbox password hash synchronization is selected and then check the results.
2. Try to trigger a full password sync.

a full sync of all passwords”.
3. If the issue persists, let’s check event logs. Please locate Event Viewer to get password related error logs.

Hello young,
I did the same which you suggested however no luck.
in my case Synchronization service manager was not updated the user name and password then have updated manually then it resolved my issue.
