Keep Undo Button Visible on all Tabs

Hi!

Our company recently updated MS Office with the new version of Windows. While I find it incredibly bland and boring, the one pain point for me is the location of the Undo button. When working on papers that require inserting footnotes and such, having to keep going back to the "home" tab to be able to hit the "undo" button is highly annoying. Is there anyway to pin that part of the toolbar somewhere?

It is part of the QAT by default. You can move the QAT from above the Ribbon to below it.

It is not on the Home Tab. If it is not there, you can modify the QAT to add it.

Ctrl+Z is the keyboard shortcut for Undo. I find it far more handy than clicking.

You can add the Undo command to the Quick Access Toolbar, if it isn't already there. You can use the little arrow on the far right of the toolbar; click it for a choice of options. If you don't see Undo listed, click More Commands to access all available commands and choose to add Undo.

First of all, you may want to right-click the QAT itself and choose to display it below the ribbon (for easier access).
