Issue with Windows Security popup

Hi Support Team,

The issue is with Microsoft Excel 2010. When I try download a Excel Report from a trusted website, I get the following prompt.

Now when I select Open option from the prompt. I receive a Windows Security popup, asking me to provide Windows username and password for three times, which is annoying.

After providing username and password for three times, the Excel Report is opening as follows.

Why does Windows Security does not want to take the Windows credentials for the first time?

Is there a way we can save the Windows credentials so that we can avoid providing windows username and password for three times? (OR)

Is there a way we can bypass Windows Security Popup?

I don't face any issues when using MS Excel 2007. The issue is only happening only when I upgrade MS Excel to 2010. Please advise why this is happening with MS Excel 2010???

Kind Regards,

Surya.

Hi Surya,

You may check the option “remember my credentials” box in the windows security prompt and check if it opens without asking for 3 times.

What happens when you save the file locally and then open the excel file? Does it prompt for a password?
