Is there a way to show a pie chart in Microsoft Lists?

I have a list with a series of tasks. In another column I have the status of each task (eg. Not Started, Completed). Is there a way to create a pie chart that shows the percentage of tasks set to a status of completed? The idea is to show a quick project summary.

Per your description, you want to create a pie chart to show the percentage of tasks set to a status of completed.

 

As far as we know, we’re afraid that there is no out of box way to create a pie chart in Microsoft Lists. We do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it. We’re sorry that it doesn’t meet your requirement.

 

Given this situation, we recommend that you submit requirement for this feature in this SharePoint UserVoice and many members who has the same requirement with you will vote it in the future.

 

As a workaround, you could first export the list to an Excel workbook, then insert Pivot table and create a pie chart like below:
