Is there a way to pin Microsoft forms on your taskbar?

Hi all,

As a teacher I have got access to Microsoft forms and I was wondering if I could pin ms forms on my task bar the way you might be able to do so for word PowerPoint etc. Its just a hassle opening a browser all the time to access forms

Hello, I am Thomas, an independent advisor and I will be glad to help you today.

I am afraid that it is not possible to do so because Microsoft Forms is a web-based application within Microsoft office 365.

Having said that, what you have requested is a great idea. that is why I encourage you to start a petition in the Uservoice community.

dear YusufIbrahim1 : It seems that it is possible to pin Microsoft Forms to the taskbar. to do so, please do the following:

In the first place please open Microsoft forms in Edge.

Once open, please click on the ellipsis (...) located in the upper right corner
Then click on Apps> install this site as an app.

Finally, the app will appear in the start menu.

Now, to pin it to the taskbar, do a right-click under the app and then proceed to pin it to the taskbar.

thomas, when i click on the ellipsis and then apps i do not get an option called install this site as an app

Hi Thomas its working thanks!

Although i was hoping by clicking on the form icon on the task bar it would take me to my library or overview of all my forms rather than an individual one

I am glad that it is working YusufIbrahim1. What you could do to see your forms library is to install the office app in the same that we did with Forms.

To do it, please access https://www.office.com > then click on the ellipsis> apps> install this site as an app.

next, pin the office app to the taskbar. Once done that, open it and click on "more apps" on the left side.

Finally, click on forms, and at this point, you will be able to open a new form and also to open any document from your library.
