Using OneNote for Office 365 on a Surface Go
When I hand write a sentence on multiple lines and convert to text, One Note assumes that each line is separate sentence. Is there any way to get One Note to recognize each line as part of one sentence?

Hi FAL11,
Please confirm if you are following the steps mentioned in the article below to convert your handwritten notes to typed text in OneNote.
Change handwritten ink to text or math in OneNote for Windows 10
In addition, please confirm your OneNote version and some related screenshots for reference.
Thanks,
Neha

Hi FAL11,
Sorry for the late reply. Our testing (Surface) device had some issues, so it took time for me to test and check the behavior you mentioned.
After I tested with OneNote 2016, I saw the same behavior. Since no new features are being developed in OneNote 2016, I’ll suggest you consider using OneNote for Windows 10. If you still see the same issue in OneNote for Windows 10, then you can the feedback to related team and let them know about this issue.
To send the feedback in OneNote for Windows 10, click the Settings and More button (three horizontal dots) in the upper right corner of the app window, click Settings, and then click Feedback. Many of the feature additions and improvements are the direct result of feedback Product team has received from OneNote users like you.
Your understanding is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Neha
