Import Outlook Calendar into SharePoint Site Calendar

Hello!

I've got 7 calendars that I need to merge into one for multiple employee's to schedule events on.

I would like to merge them into the SharePoint site calendar so it can be added to Outlook and Teams.

What is the best way to go about this?

I had seen an older article explaining how to do it with .csv tables. But the buttons in the SharePoint site are not available anymore.

Hi Billy,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, your needs are related to Outlook calendars and SharePoint. Since you posted the thread in SharePoint, I would like to provide two kinds of SharePoint calendars that may meet your needs.

1. Create a SharePoint list and use the Calendar view as the default view.

Normally, when you try to create a SharePoint list, you can create the list based on the CSV file. However, in this case, you need to figure out how to merge the 7 calendars and get one CSV file. Therefore, I recommend you post a new thread under the Outlook category for further help.

Also, based on my search, the following article and thread may help.

Merge items from multiple calendars

Export Calendar into CSV

Also, if you create the SharePoint list successfully, you can use the Lists app to show it in Teams.

2. Use the built-in SharePoint Calendar app to create a calendar.

After you create the Calendar list, you can try the following steps to get events from 7 calendars.

a. Ensure that these employees have access to this calendar list in SharePoint

b. Ask these employees to sync the SharePoint calendar to the Outlook client.

Please ask these employees to access the calendar in SharePoint, select the CALENDAR tab, click "Connect to Outlook". After that, they can see this calendar in Outlook.

c. These employees can copy/transfer events from their calendars to this SharePoint calendar in Outlook. After that, the updates will be synced to this SharePoint calendar.

Also, if you use this method, you can use the Website app in the team channel, and then paste the list URL to display the calendar in Teams.

Appreciate your understanding and patience.

Sincerely,
