I cannot remember which email address is linked to my Microsoft 365 Account.

In February I renewed my Microsoft 365 subscription.


I have since got a new laptop and I cannot remember which email address of mine was attached to my old account. I think it was an email that I had during University and has now been deleted.


How can I sign into Microsoft Office on my new laptop? I do not want to have to pay again for the subscription as it should be up to date. I have evidence of the purchase of required.


I use Word daily and am really missing it! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Even if your university account has been terminated, the e-mail address may still exist as a user name for your personal Microsoft account. Test signing in with your e-mail address at https://account.microsoft.com/services and see what happens. You may be prompted to indicate if the account is business/organization or personal; if that happens, choose the option that it is a personal account.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately, I cannot remember my password to my account. I am unable to request to change my password because the account has been deleted.

Hi

Check your email in February for a receipt.

If your products were activated, in Word, use the Menu Bar and choose Word > About Microsoft Word to display the license.

Be sure to include the version number and OS version when asking your question.
