I cannot log into my school account

I was working on my paper in my online school account, and it kicked me out to install an autoupdate on my mac.  Now when I click to log into my account it just keeps taking me to the same login screen.  I never get to the enter password screen. 

I am able to access my account on a window desktop.  Just not my mac laptop which is where all my school stuff is.

Just to confirm, when you try to log in , you put your email but it will not proceed to the next screen where you put your password ? Also is this happening to all office apps ? Have you tried signing in on the other apps ?

No actually I misspoke.  I can't even get to the screen to put in my email.  I click on the sign in button and it just stays on the same screen.  Originally, it remembered me, but I told it to forget me just to see if that would work.  

And I'm not sure what you mean by other office apps.  I did log into just like a microsoft account, and was able to see my subscription.  From there I clicked on a link to get to 365, and it opened another window for me to sign in and I still have the same problem

Can you try clearing the browser cache and cookies and then try to log in again, by the way what is the website address you are trying to log on ?

When you say clear the browser cache and cookies do you mean just clear the history?

I'm on office.com trying to log in.  The tab says Office 365 login.  I have the free student account.

Clear the cache and cookies not the whole history because you will lose the websites you visited before. Then try to login in again

I did the whole history and I still can't get in.  It did take me to the next screens and let me put in my email address and then the next screen with my password, but then it takes me right back to the main office 365 login screen again
