Hi ZB,

Based on my experience, this error could be related to multiple factors. May I collect some information to analyze it?

1. First, could you provide the entire Hybrid Configuration Wizard (HCW) error? You can open the log fie and copy the log:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Logging\Update-HybridConfiguration\HybridConfiguration_1_19_2016_13_53_7_635888083875768369.log

2. From the error message, the issue is related to organization relationship. However, from your PowerShell output: Get-FederationInformation -DomainName domain.com –Verbose, no exact error is found. May I collect some more information?

From on-premise Exchange Management Shell (EMS), run the following 3 commands:

Get-FederationInformation -DomainName xxxx.mail.onmicrosoft.com

Get-FederationInformation -DomainName xxxx.com

Get-FederationInformation -DomainName xxxx.mail.onmicrosoft.com -Verbose

Note: replace xxxx.mail.onmicrosoft.com and xxxx.com with the correct domain name.

3. Connect Windows PowerShell to Exchange Online: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/jj984289(v=exchg.160).aspx. And then run the following two commands:

Get-FederationInformation -DomainName xxxx.mail.onmicrosoft.com

Get-FederationInformation -DomainName xxxx.com

After that, please provide the output. I can analyze and compare them.

4. After step 3, please try to run hybrid configuration wizard (HCW) again. Does the issue persist?

5. Exchange server uses Autodiscover service to query the organization relationship information. In hybrid, Autodiscover DNS record needs to point to an on-premises Exchange CAS server. Please confirm the Autodiscover record is set properly and the 3rd party certificate has been configured and imported properly.

6. The issue might also be related network settings. Is there any network device between Exchange server and Internet, such as proxy, firewall, TMG, etc?

To protect your privacy, I have sent a private message to request the PowerShell output. Please use this link to access the private message: https://community.office365.com/user/conversations

With the detailed information, I will further check it.

Thanks,

Young
