How to remove blank pages in a WORD document

I removed all the data and images from the pages at the end of a WORD document and I want to remove the actual blank pages. I found numerous answers here that sound like they would give me a solution, but apparently they apply to a different version of WORD than I am using. My Account>About Word shows Version 2106(Build 14131.20278 Click-to-Run). I tried selecting one of the blank pages to cut it, but it doesn't highlight anything to cut.

I realize that I can simply use the print option to not prrint the blank page(s), but it seems there should be a way to delete those pages.

TIA for your help.
SweetTasha.

Ok, let's go to the explanation: if the blank page is at the end of the document, scroll to the end of the document by pressing Ctrl+End on your keyboard, then press Backspace. If the blank page is caused by extra paragraphs or a manual isolated page break, this should quickly remove it.

There can be many reasons for blank pages.

The specific version of Word you are running makes no difference with regards to blank pages. The most common causes are (1) excessive blank paragraphs, (2) section breaks or (3) a table at the very end of a document. This is discussed in detail in the article for which Charles has already provided a link: http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/BlankPage.htm.
