How to put word under the underline?

I want to put word under the underline. And I don't want to use text box because it is very complex when I need put many times.

Results shown in picture(Like "A","B","C"):

I think you'd have to use a tiny text box for each letter. Give it No Line and No Fill and set the text box margin to 0. Format it as In Front of Text and set the horizontal position relative to Character and the vertical position relative to Line. Center the text in the box. When you have created one text box and fine-tuned its size and position, save it to the Text Box Gallery to make it easier to insert more.

No bad ideas, either. Sorry.

There is no way to do this in Word without breaking up the text flow.

You can insert a graphic line but it will not be anchored to the word. It can be anchored to the paragraph.
