How to get reply/forward arrows on email list

Using MS Outlook, somehow the indication (arrows) are no longer showing when I reply or forward an email. Can you tell me what I need to do to get that indicator column back up on my email list?

I do not have "arrange by" so I must be using a different version then you.  I apologize.

However, in an attempt to match up your awesome "slipstick image" to my actual screen... I could not see any of those features, but while I was there I ACCIDENTALLY went to:

Navigation bar and clicked "VIEW" by accident.

Then I clicked "CURRENT VIEW"

Then I clicked 'MESSAGES WITH AUTO PREVIEW"

and VOILA!!!!   There's the column with envelopes and arrows!

(note: the previous setting was "MESSAGES" not "MESSAGES WITH AUTO PREVIEW")

So, if you were trying to get me there, well you did!  thank you!

If you were trying someting else, well... thanks for your time!  It is fixed!
