how to create multiple tenants from one Enterprise Agreement Subscription

Hi,

We're using an Office365 tenant via licenses under our Enterprise Agreement (250 E3, 50 K1+EMS) and this will grow to 1000+ next months (production level).

For testing pruposes (we're typically having on-premises test and acceptance environments) we need to set up two permanant seperate tenants so we can test the integrations with our on-prem test and on-prem acceptance infrastructure and solutions.

How do I setup different tenants AND using by example 5 users licenses per new tenant from our existing online subscription pool?

Note that it is not an option to use different domains (AzureAD) in one single tenant. We explicitly want the seperation on the tenant level.

Thanks for the feedback!

Answer

Sharing this with the 'world' how to do this.

1. Contact your Microsoft Partner who's responsible for your Enterprise Angreement.

2. Ask to have seperate Office365 tenants with specific licensens for the online sibscriptions.

3. They will send you a document that you need to fill in and sign.
(and provide the tenant domain names you want to have)

4. In the Volume Licensing Center, new additional subscription ID's are created.

5. When ordering additional subscription licenses, you need to specify for which subscription.

That's it.
