how to change default page scale when printing

I often print using Powerpoint to output pages to their real physical size to make templates. To do this I have to uncheck the "scale to fit paper" each time I print a page.  I have two HP laser printers and they both do the same thing.  Is there a way to make the uncheck "scale to fit paper" setting the default?

This isn't a PowerPoint problem. You need to set up the default printer preferences in your print driver. Look on the Effects tab of the HP driver dialog and choose Actual Size. Please post again if you have trouble finding out how to set this.
