Thanks for using Microsoft product and posting in the community.

For the feature of “Borders”, you can add border for some text, pictures and shapes in Word. I’d like to show you how to add borders for the text in Word both in Windows and Mac. You could follow the steps to add the border in Word.

For Windows
Open Word>Select the content you want>select Home> select the “Borders” button>click the arrow next to the Borders button
You can select the “Borders and Shading” button to customize the border.

Open Word>Select the content you want>select Home> select the “Borders” button>click the arrow next to the Borders button
