How Do I Take a Screenshot of a Dropdown Menu in Word 365?

Hi, everyone!

I need to take a screenshot of a dropdown menu in Word 365, but I can't figure out how to do it. When I tried the Snipping Tool or Screenshot in the Insert menu, the menu disappeared. Everything that came up in my Google search is from years ago and nothing works.

Any ideas? Thank you very much for your consideration and time!

You likely need to use the Delay snipe option (on the snipe menu bar)

Hi, We understand that you'd like to take a screenshot of a drop-down menu in Word 365. Yes, the drop-down menu will disappear if you click elsewhere with the mouse, instead, use the keyboard to launch the Snipping Tool by pressing Windows Key + Shift + S. As amit suggested, you can use the key combination Windows logo key + Shift+ S.

In some cases, using the PrintScreen key is easier, but you may have to turn off the option (in the Ease of Access category in Windows Settings) that starts the Snipping Tool as you press PrintScreen.
