How do I suppress error flags for "Inconsistent Formula" and "Formula omits adjacent cells"

These are annoying and useless,  because they only occur when I choose to use different rows for different purposes within the same column or vice versa.  I can click on "Ignore Error" but each time the formula moves the error flag comes up again. e.g.:  I have entries in rows
A{2,...,n) = x2,...,xn, B{n=2,...n) is of the form =A{n}-A{n-1} and C{n} is =B{n}/a{n-1}

Row n+1 and n+2 are empty to allow copying of n+3   to n+4 when data is entered in A{n+1}: Now
A{n+3} has =MAX(A$2:A{n}) it's flagged every time I move it to say "Omits adjacent cells".

Answer
The Error Checking Rules are within Excel Options. In Excel 2010, click File, Options then choose Formulas from the list on the left. The options you are looking for are within the Error checking and Error checking rules sections at the bottom.
