How do I prevent text from moving down on page 2 when overflow of text has occured on page 1. I.E. I want the text on page 2 at the top of the page to stay put and not move down.

I have a word doc that is 3 pages long. On page 1 are details for someone to enter information in, when I come to the end of page 1 it flows onto page 2 and the text on page 2 goes down the page. How do I prevent the text on page 2 to not move down when text on page 1 overflows.

Where -- exactly -- do you expect the "overflow of text has occured [sic] on page 1" to go if not onto the 2nd page?

If you mean that you want the current content of what is on the 2nd "page" to always start at the top of a page, one option is to format the first paragraph of that page with Format> Paragraph> Line & Page Breaks - Page Break Before. The "overflow" from page 1 will still continue onto the 2nd page, but what's already on the 2nd page will be forced to the top of a 3rd page... the remainder of the document will reflow as necessary to accommodate the volume of content.
