How do I make a booklet (8X11 landscape ) ?

I am using office 2003 Pro. I want to take text, from single column source, put it in 2 columnns landscape orientation and make a booklet (17 pages) with headers and footers. page numbers. I can cut out the columned, landscaped, text and manually paste on masterpage, but I would prefer the software do so if possible.

Thanks

There are booklet style templates available but for complete control, you may wish to start your own from a blank document.

Print a folded booklet
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/print-a-folded-booklet-HP003072949.aspx

(click +How? just inside the first step for document setup instructions)

If you create a well formatted booklet document, you can clear the text and Save As your own document template.

You can choose "Book fold" under "Multiple pages" on the Margins tab of Page Setup in Word 2003. For other options, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/BookletPrinting.htm
