How do I convert mmddyyyy to mm/dd/yyyy in excel 365?

How do I convert the date 03302020 to 03/30/2020 in excel 365? I have tried customizing the date to different formats. The date is originally typed in as text, example 03302020, that is March 30, 2020. I have tried resetting my settings date. It is not giving me the correct day. I get 03/03/2020 instead of 03/30/2020. I am using the formula =DATE(RIGHT(F2,4),MID(F2,2,1), LEFT(F2,2).

=DATE(RIGHT(F2,4),LEFT(F2,2),MID(F2,3,2))
