How create a OneNote Template that titles the page with Todays date upon opening?

Every morning I create a new OneNote page and manually insert the date using the "insert date" command. Obviously this is pretty easy, but it would be nice to be able to have that happen automatically with a template.

I know how to make templates and set new pages to open with a custom template, but there must be a way to have it automatically put in todays date as the Page Title.

Any input appreciated, thanks.

Hi Jimmy:

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to do this automatically. You could always check out some third party options -- for example, it looks like someone had a very similar need to you and created "One Note Daily Journal" ( https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/descapa/2006/10/12/fix-for-daily-journal-in-onenote-2007/ )  -- this is also full of some neat ideas: (  http://www.onenotepowertoys.com/  )
