how can we disable create meeting option for students in ms teams calendar

Regarding your requirement. You need to Turn Off meeting options available under General in Meeting polices from Teams admin center. For this, you can open students account and disable meeting options from current meeting policy assigned to the students or create custom Meeting policy with disable allow meeting options and assigned to students accounts.

A. To modify current meeting policy assigned to the students account:

• Login to Teams admin center > go to Users > Select your student account > Policies > Select Meeting policies > Turn off Allow Meeting options available in General from his assigned policy.

B. To Create custom meeting policy and assign to students/users:

Create custom meeting policy:

• Open Microsoft Teams admin center, go to Meetings > Meeting policies > Select Add.

• Enter a name and description for the policy.

• Choose the settings that you want and disable General meeting options (as per above screenshot)

• Select Save.

To assign a policy to a users:

• Open Users from the left navigation of the Microsoft Teams admin center

• Select the user or users > select Edit settings.

• Select the Meeting policy and assign your custom policy, and then select Apply.
