How can I change the size of my pictures from 600x450 pixels to 500x500 pixels?

I would like to submit some photos to a website, however it is telling me I need to change the size of my pictures to 500 x 500 in order for them to receive them.  How do I change the size on my own computer so that I may send them?

Any help for me?  Can this be done and how?

Answer
Use Microsoft Picture Manager available with Office 2007 to re-size your pictures. For more help on how to re-size pictures using Picture Manager, refer to the links given below:

Note: resizing pictures depend on the aspect ratio of the original picture. For e.g. if the picture size is 600 X 450 pixels then either only the width or the length could be set as 500 pixels. If the picture size is 600 X 600 pixels then it could be re-sized to 500 X 500 pixels since the aspect ratio is 1:1. For pictures which do not have aspect ratio as 1:1, you may crop those picture to set the aspect ratio as 1:1 then re-size it.
