Formatting Legacy field text boxes in word

With the document unprotected, select the formfields and apply the desired font and size to them.  Then protect the document.

I have created a letter in word using legacy form text boxes. When the document is locked and I try to fill out the text fields, the font changes and is not the same as the rest of the document. I have right-clicked on the fields when the document is unlocked to make sure it is the same as the document, but it changes once the letter is locked and is a different font, different size. This is not ideal! How can it be fixed? Thanks

Thanks Doug - I have tried that but it doesn't work...I have checked every field to make sure the font is the same as the rest of the document. After saving the changes, locking the document and closing it, I have re-opened it and tried to complete the fields. But different font and font size appears again in the text fields! If I edit the fields when the document is unlocked, the font is fine but it seems to change when the document is locked?
