Hi USMA56795,
Sorry for the inconvenience the problem caused for you.
Based on your description, when you try to share a PowerPoint file, an error will pop up. I tested it on my side, however, there was no problem.
Here are some suggestions, and I hope they could help you:
If the problem persists, could you please provide some information for me?
1. Please provide a screenshot of your PowerPoint version(open PowerPoint > File > Account > capture a screenshot of the full Product Information column like below)
2. If you click the "Share" button in the ribbon, will the same error occur?
3. If you go to your OneDrive to share the file, can you share it successfully?
4. Does the problem happen on other Office applications, such as: Word, Excel?
Best regards,
Jazlyn

Hi USMA56795,
Thank you for the reply.
Since you mentioned that the problem only happens on PowerPoint app, may I confirm that whether the problem is related to this specific file? Or all the files?
If the problem only happens on this specific file, based on our research, some users solved the similar problem via re-naming the file, you could also have a try.
If the problem happens on all the files, you can try to fix Office client, by performing a repair. Try a quick repair first, and if that doesn't work, try the online repair.
Best regards,
Jazlyn

I have this same problem too. The only workaround for the time being is to close Outlook, reopen the document you were working on, and try sharing again.
Microsoft really needs to fix this in an upcoming patch.

Hi USMA56795,
Thank you for the reply.
We noticed that when you click File > Share, the page is different from ours. Because whether you click share from the File menu or directly clicking the top button from the ribbon, the page is the same like below:
Given this situation, could you please provide a screenshot of your Office Product Information column for me?
Best regards,
Jazlyn

Hi USMA56795,
Since you already had the latest version of Office, and we couldn't reproduce this problem on our side with the same version.
You can also try the following suggestions to see the result:
You can perform a clean boot in Windows to determine whether a background program is interfering with Office program.
you can try to switch to a new Windows User Profile. This method can rule out the possible reason of your current Windows User Account.
Additionally, may I know that whether the problem is with all the users?
Best Regards,
Jazlyn
