Extending Notes pages in PowerPoint

I have PowerPoint presentations that have extensive notes for training.  How can I get the entire notes pages to print, even if on additional pages, without shrinking the font to an unreadable size?

Hi Laura,

Based on your description, I suppose that you want to print the notes page with the slides. Please follow the steps below to print notes pages.

1. Open the presentation for which you want to print notes pages.

2. Click the File tab.

3. On the left side of the File tab, click Print.

4. Under Settings, click the arrow next to Full Page Slides, and then under Print Layout, click Notes Pages.

5. To specify the page orientation, click the arrow next to Portrait Orientation, and then click Portrait Orientation or Landscape Orientation in the list.

6. If you want to print your notes and slide thumbnails in color, select a color printer. Click the arrow next to Color, and then click Color in the list.

7. Click Print.

Please note: you can print only one notes page per printed page.

If there is anything misunderstood, please provide more details about your requirement.

I suspect Tisky has misunderstood your question.

However, go to Notes Pages view and verify that your notes run off the bottom of your notes page for one or more slides.

Choose File | Print

Choose to print Notes Pages

Scroll through the previews; I think you'll see that you'll get extra notes page printouts when the notes text extends past the bottom of the normal notes page.

If you want to do a test w/o wasting paper, go to File | Save As, choose to save as PDF then click Options.  You can choose to print Notes Pages there.  The PDF will show you what you've got and if it's what you want, you can print from the PDF.
