Do you face this issue with a particular Excel file?
If yes, use the open and repair option using the article mentioned below and check if it works fine:

If you face the issue with all the Excel file, you may start Excel in application safe and check if it works fine:
Click Start> Type ‘Excel /safe’ without quotes in search program and files and hit enter.
Note: There is a space between the word ‘Excel’ and forward slash.
If Excel works as expected, disable the addins using the link mentioned below and empty the Excel startup folder by browsing to the location mentioned below:

Browse to the below locations and remove the files from the startup folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\XLSTART
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
Note: Take a backup of files before deleting the files.
