I am having issues on Outlook for Mac. One of my email accounts (IMAP account) cannot send emails. They all get stuck in my outbox.
My other email account (exchange) works fine.
The error code I am getting is - 17898 and the message is "User (my email address) has been restricted. " and the details described "Mail could not be sent."
I have tried Uninstalling the account and reinstalling and reconfiguring- this did not work. Same error code.
I have tried doing the troubleshooting suggested here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2492901/sending-email-error-authentication-failed-error-17897-in-outlook-2011
And this also did not work.
I have also tried changing my Authentification Type on the outgoing server... to no avail.
The email account itself is fine as I can send emails when I am on the providers web page.
I have tried trouble shooting this with the email provider (goDaddy) that then sent me to you as it's an outlook issue.
Please would anyone have a solution?
