ERROR CODE 1303

RECEIVED ERROR CODE 1303 WHEN I TRIED TO INSTALL OFFICE ENTERPRISE 2007 THAT WAS AVAILABLE THROUGH MY EMPLOYER.  HOPEFULLY, I DO NOT HAVE TO  REINSTALL WINDOW 7.

Hi,
You will receive the above error if either of the following is true for the folder in which you are installing Office:

The SYSTEM group does not have Full Control privileges.

-or-

The Everyone group does not have Full Control privileges.


1. On Windows 7, when the error message appears, locate folder
2. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties
3. On the property window, click Security tab
4. Click on advanced at the right hand bottom
5. Click on change permission
6. Click on Add and type  Everyone and click on OK
7. And then Run Office Setup by using the disc or the installation file
