Editing Powerpoint stored in Teams

Hello,

I often use content from other Powerpoint files to create new PPT presentations.  If I am trying to edit a PPT file that I have open in Teams, it does not appear that I can copy and paste slides from a separate PPT file that I have open in the PPT desktop app running on my PC (not in Teams).

It seems the only way to copy and paste slides from the PPT on my PC to the version hosted on Teams is to download the file from Teams to my desktop, make the change in Powerpoint, and then repost the file to the Teams site, replacing the file that's there.  That would seem to risk losing any edits made to the original file hosted on Teams by other members who may be editing that file in the interim.

Thanks for the feedback.

Goodness, I just found the option on the PPT Teams app ribbon "Open in Desktop App".  There you go, just needed to open my eyes and look around.  :)
