Duplicate messages on Skype for Business

When sending and recieving IM's in skype, Skype will duplicate the messages doesn’t matter if it is sent or recieved in the IM window. 

When I type something into Skype and hit enter, it shows up like I typed it twice.  The same sentence twice when I only entered it once.

if this issue happened in skype for business client, i’d like to confirm some information to better understand the situation:
1. would you mind capturing a screenshot of the page that shows twice of the sentence and upload it to us for better understanding? to upload a screenshot, please click use rich formatting->insert/edit media button.


2. did you try using another skype for business client on another pc to send and receive im? did the issue persist?
3. how about other users in your organization? did they encounter the same issue?

it happens for both received and send messages on skype for business client.

yes, the above screenshot is from a conversation with both users on sfb client.

3. how about other users in your organization? did they encounter the same issue?

yes, there have been atleast 3 that i know of.

please let me know a solution for it.

Hi Nishith,

Since this issue happened to not only 1 users in your organization, it probably means root cause of the issue is related to the Office 365 account you are using to sign in to Skype for Business client. To double check if it is, I have sent you a test account. Please sign in to your Skype for Business client with the test account and try sending/receiving IM to/from external and internal users in your organization to see if the issue persists.

I have sent you a private message that includes my test account, please refer to the following steps to respond to it:

1. Please go to your details section on the right side of the community site.
2. Click Private messages.
3. Click the subject title and respond to it.
