Does Office 365 for education works only online or can we install it on pc also.

Actually I just registered myself for Office for education through school provided email and setuped it. But I wanna know whether it works online only or can we install it on pc also as an offline mode.

You can install the Office from Office 365 portal to your local desktop. One licensed account can install and activate Office on up to five machines.

Go to this URL to install Office from Office 365 portal: https://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx

Actually there is no option for downloading office 365 at my portal.

My Licenses are:-

Office 365 Education for students
Sway
Office Online for Education
SharePoint Plan 1 for EDU
So please tell me can I still download it on my local desktop.

thanks for your update.

according to the license status you provided, you cannot download the office desktop client as there is no license for it.

to download office, we need to be assigned the related office license, as it shows in the license status like the example below.
