Disable CTRL+N in Word 2010

I want to disable the CTRL+N function in Word but I have been through the Customise Ribbon commands and the shortcut assigned to FileNew is not visible in the CurrentKeys box so cannot be removed.  Although in Word this shortcut still works and I cannot see how to remove it or switch it off.  In my previous version of Word, this was possible.  Please help?

Answer

In the Customize Keyboard dialog box, make sure to select the All Commands category so that you can see a list of all available commands.

To display the dialog box, click File tab | Options. In the Customize Ribbon category, click the Customize button.
