Delete a certain font text in Word Document

I have a document with mixed text containing characters in Arial MT and Malgun Gothic. Sometimes they are separate words, sometimes these fonts are mixed in one word. I need to get rid of the characters in Malgun Gothic. Anyone pls help me how to do that? I tried to use a macro from this thread but it comes back with a run time error 5904, cannot edit range...https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/delete-a-particular-font-text-in-word-document/e5bd5324-d278-4cd3-9605-6dc9b0d0a8b5

Am sorry, have you tried to remove the font through the control panel? Please do this: Go to the control panel> type Font in the search and press enter > select Malgun Gothic font and click on delete> Restart the PC, open the Word document, and then check if that works. Are you trying to remove the font formatting, or the text?

Thank you for your reply, it says Malgun Gothic cannot be deleted because it is a protected system font,,,Btw I am trying to remove the text, not font formatting ;)

I want to remove the text, the text in Malgun Gothic shouldn't really be a part of the document...

Use the Replace dialog (Ctrl+H) as follows:

  1. Click More>> to expand the dialog

  2. With the insertion point in the "Find what" box, click Format and choose Font...

  3. In the Font dialog, select Malgun Gothic and click OK.

  4. You'll see the font indicated below the "Find what" box as shown below.

  5. Leaving the "Replace with" box empty, click Replace All.
