Custom UI Runtime Error in Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the Add-in.  Running Outlook 2010 (32-bit), Access 2010 (32-bit), Windows 7 Pro (64-bit).  With the Add-in enabled, an error appears with the "Custom UI Runtime Error in Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing"  "An error occurred while calling the callback "Ribbon_GetIMEXImage" each time I open a task, if I click "OK" the task loads.

If I create a new Access 2010 database and try to Import data from an Outlook folder, nothing happens - it's like I never clicked on anything.

I've run a Repair install via the Control Panel / Change utility, and created a brand new Profile with my Exchange account running Online (no cached mode), and deleted my .ost file from the cached mode profile.

Totally stumped, having been digging across the Internet all day, I really need this to work.

Thought is was just me!! If anyone has a clue to resolve this issue please share the steps.

Thank you,

Brian

I fixed my problem by going into Outlook under  File / options / add-ins / then on bottom Com Add-ins / Go and removing Microsoft Outlook Add-in for Data Collection Publishing.

Or go here and delete it>>>>>>>>>>>>C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\ADDINS   it is the ACCOLK.DLL      Make sure Outlook is closed.

Yes. I have hotmail account and Gmail. I have had no problems. Deleting the file was the best way.

I had the same issue but discovered from other forums that you can prevent the message being displayed by turning off the option 'Show add-in user interface errors'

This doesn't treat the cause just the the effect...  no idea what is causing the error, just know how to stop the error message bugging me...

To show add-in user interface errors for Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
  1. Start Microsoft Office Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.

  2. Click the Microsoft Office Button

  3. Click Word Options, Excel Options, or PowerPoint Options.

  4. In the categories pane, click Advanced.

  5. In the General section of the details pane, select Show add-in user interface errors, and then click OK.

To show add-in user interface errors for Microsoft Office Outlook
  1. Start Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  3. In the Options dialog box, click the Other tab, and then click Advanced Options.

  4. In the Advanced Options dialog box, select Show add-in user interface errors, and then click OK.

  5. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
