Cumulative hours

Excel 2010

I want to add cumulative hours in a column. If I use the SUM() function, Excel will add the hours and minutes and drop the first 24 hours. For example, if the total is 31:18 (hours and minutes), the function will return an answer of 7:18 (hours and minutes) dropping the first 24 hours.

How do I get it to show a true total of hours and minutes?

Hi,

Format the cell as [h]:mm.
