Creating a database of image files

For the second time this week . . check out http://www.ammara.com/
this little add-in will give you great control over the images - JPG . .
But you still need to put together a table structure to create your index.
for printting these pics - in any combination . . create reports and add the pics in as controls on the report.
if you download the DBPix program ( free with a watermark ) it has sample DBs to see how to use it.
These samples may give you the info to create your index DB

Although it is possible to store images and it can be done in several ways in the later version, it is not adnisable to do so. Even with the Ammara control (which does work well) the database will fill quickly and both individual and network performance can suffer. I have a free utitlity on my website that will traverse a directory and save the path of every image file in a table. There are also demos of displaying in a form or report. All of this is free for you to import into your own database:

That's an exceptionally handy little tool.
I've been puzzling this very problem for some time and trying to fiddle some sort of data app/report together.
