Changing default search in microsoft word 365 from Bing to google

Word has a feature where you can highlight a word or words and right clicking it gives you an option to search. In word 2013? I think that I had earlier it took you to Bing, but there was a way to change that to Google.

Now they have an option called "Smart lookup" where they force you to Bing, which doesn't give me the information I require almost all of the time.

How can I change that to Google?

Thanks

Unfortunately it does not.  That is for word 2013.

I have Microsoft Office 365, which has Word 2016, which does not have that option.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\General  doesn't exist

Instead you have

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Word\Options

Should I continue with the instructions in the Options window?

Word 2016 is Word 16, so you could try

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\General

It appears that you have to create the key called "General" first and then create the value under that key.

Well, it was a bit of a long shot, since the spellchecker, and especially the grammar checker, are both different in Word 2016 compared to older versions.

Thanks for the follow-up.
