Change decimal symbol from comma to dot using Mac and Excel 2016

I would like to be able to change the decimal symbol from comma to dot.

This option is available on Windows but not when I am using Excel on Mac.

Hi Nikolaos,

 

You may go to System Preference>Language & Region>Advanced>General>choose dot for the two options for Decimal>OK>Restart your Mac and check the result in Excel.

 

 

If above doesn’t help, please provide the following information:

 

1.Office version. You can check it via the steps in this article.

2.Mac version.(Apple menu>About This Mac)

3.Go to System Preference>Language & Region, capture a screenshot of the Language & Region window.

4.Go to System Preference>Language & Region>Advanced>General, capture a screenshot of the window.
