Change color on icon used for slide zoom

Hi community,

I have been using PowerPoints Zoom function for a long time a definitely like the features it brings. However, there is something that has been bothering me lately. When inserting a slide zoom, it is possible to change image (right click and then it is displayed). The different options to change image to is "From a File", "Stock Image", "Online Pictures" and "From Icons". Personally, I like the Microsoft icons, but when I use it slide zoom I am not able to change the color in the icon. When changing fill and board color, it only changes the colors for the slide zoom figure and not the icon. Does anyone now if it possible to ONLY change the icon color (like when you insert a icon usually)? If yes, how? If now, will it be a feature in the upcoming updates?

Best,

Elin

Answer

The only way I can think of (a bit long winded) is to insert the icon onto the slide, change the color and save as an SVG. Then use the from file option.
