1. Download the license removal tool.
2. Open the pkg file in the Downloads folder on your Mac.
3. Select Continue and then follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
4. If you want to start removing the license, select Install. You may need to enter the password for the local administrator account for your Mac.
After the licensing tool finishes, select Close.
5. Now open an Office application and sign in to activate with the email account associated with your Microsoft 365 license for Mac. If you're troubleshooting, you might need to reinstall Office before you sign in.
After activating the product, restart the computer and continue working.

If you purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription from a third-party provider, such as Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, or Google Play, please contact them directly to manage your subscription and billing.
Microsoft can't cancel, activate, or disable recurring billing for subscriptions purchased through a third-party provider.
If you purchased a Microsoft subscription from a third-party provider, contact customer support for cancellation or refund. All refund requests must be made to the retailer where you purchased the subscription, as Microsoft has not received this payment.
