Cant login? login loop

When i go to the login site...

https://login.microsoftonline.com/

i enter my details to login.  then the site goes through an endless loop of refreshes.  i cannot access office 365 through web.  why??

it loops continuously on like this type of page.  if i try reloading page, try new window, etc... same results.

Hi Andrew,

I’d like to confirm and try the following.
1. Have you tried other browsers to check the outcome?
2. Have you tried to log in with the IE private mode?
3. What operation system do you use?
4. What browser are you using? Check if cookies is enabled in your browser. If you are using IE, you can do that via Tools>Internet Options>Privacy and set settings to Accept All Cookies to have a shot.
5. If you are using IE, add https://login.microsoftonline.com/ to a trusted site in IE via Tools>Internet Options>Security>Trusted sites>Sites>Add.

If you have tried all above and they don’t work, I’ve created a workspace for you to help us in collecting some logs via Fiddler for our further troubleshooting. For how to access the workspace, you can review via https://community.office365.com/user/conversations.

Sorry, couldn't do above from mobile over last few days.

So I use Chrome as browser.

If I use Edge, the login works.

If I use Chrome in Private Mode, the login works.

I cleared my cookies in Chrome and tried again.  I get the login screen to load, and then the site works now.

Why would I have to go in and clear cookies to get this to work?  Should 365 server-side figure out there is a loop situation and force me to login/clear server-side cookies?

(I won't use IE on my tablet because it sucks on touchscreen.  And I won't use Edge because it is too bare-bonesa.)

Glad to hear that the issue has been solved.

From your description, the issue was solved by clear the browser cookies. So it might be caused by the conflicts in the client side.
