Can't Log into Microsoft Office 365 to activate

In Word, go to File - Account and sign out
Close all Office Applications
Open the old Control Panel (click your Start Button, type control and hit Enter)
Go to Control Panel - User Accounts - credential manager - Windows Credentials
Remove all Office 365 credentials that look like: MicrosoftOfficeXXData: . . . ..
Open Word and sign back into your Office 365 account
Power to the Developer!

There might be some remaining information thats why it keeps coming back.
The Support and Recovery Assistant app runs on Windows PCs and can help you identify and fix activation issues with Office 365.

Try using that to see if it resolves the problem.
If you still can't activate the suite, please contact support and they will be able to investigate and determine whats the cause.

In the Control Panel
User account.
Manage credentials (Appears in the left menu)
Windows credentials
Select all the credentials that say something about Office and delete them.
Log in again and check if it asks for the credentials again.

If it does not work, update Office.

If it does not work, try to make a online repair as indicated in the following Microsoft article:

If it does not work, add this key in your Windows registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 16.0 \ Common \ Identity
Name = DisableADALatopWAMOverride
Type = DWORD
Value = 1
Log in again and check if it asks for the credentials again.

There was nothing in the Windows Credentials to delete.
Update: After updating my Internet Explorer through the Windows Update. Uninstall Microsoft Office 365, used the web uninstaller to fully uninstall Office 365. After waiting a bit, Office 365 was uninstall from my computer. Restarted my computer and install Office again. Was able to sign in and activate Office 365. Thanks for all the advice.
