Can't access to Mail (Outlook, OWA)

Hi,

I create a microsoft account with my professional address.

Few years later, my business migrate to Office365.

So each time login to Office365 i need to choose betwenn my personal account and my business account.

So i delete the personal account the 01//11/18 and my account will be close the 03/12/18.

Today since 12:00 PM i can't access to my professional account (Outlook, OWA).

In OWA i've the error message :

X-ClientId: 62238A8C69E446FA967F465DFA7C73A3
request-id a7b1628c-9756-47b9-929c-d2ceaada2441
X-Auth-Error OpenIdConnect CannotResolveTenantNameException
X-OWA-Version 15.20.407.12
X-FEServer PR2P264CA0009
X-BEServer PR2P264MB0175
Date:18/01/2018 14:41:56

After research i can access to my professional account by this address :

https://outlook.office.com/owa/user@domain/?offline=disabled

Why i can access to my professional account ?
Is it due to the deletion of my account?

It's urgent to resolve this problem.

Regards,

Hi Ruddy,

It will be appreciated if you can clarify what's the meaning of your professional account, is it a personal Microsoft account which you deleted or an Office 365 Business account?

For a Microsoft account, the address should be https://outlook.live.com/owa/

For an Office 365 Business account, the address should be https://outlook.office365.com/owa/

Based on your description, you said that you can access the Office 365 Business account via an address including the domain. Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding.

You can clear the identity cache in the browser, enter private/incognito mode or switch another to check if the issue can be fixed.

If the issue persists, please help us confirm the following:

1. Which account do you want to access?

2. The screenshot of the error message. Please mask the PII before uploading here.

3. Does anyone else have the same issue in your business?

4. Is your account hosted on an on-premises Exchange server?

Thanks,

Lance

Hi,

I know it.

I'm logging with my professional account from my company's portal (Office 365) where I access all services (skype, sharepoint, Office) an exception to the messaging (Outlook, Owa, ActiveSync).

If I try to login with my personal account it is marked deletion (which is normal).

My administrator removed my Office 365 license and reinstalled it so that I could regain access to my mail.

Therefore I wonder if there was not an edge effect following the deletion (in progress) of my personal account that uses the same email address?

Hi Ruddy,

Do you mean that your admin removed your O365 license and re-assigned it to you?   And what you want to know is if the deletion has any effect on your use of this account?

Thanks,

Huni

Hi,

That's right.

Is the deletion of my personal account (Microsoft) has any effect on use of my professional account (O365).

Hi Ruddy,

From my perspective, the deletion of your personal account won't affect the use of your professional account.

Thanks,

Huni

Hi,

Normally, but the timing seems strange to me.

We can close the subject because visibly I would have no answer on a possible edge effect.

Thank you all the same.
