Can we get a way to crop pictures in OneNote please?

I really don't understand Microsoft sometimes. Why is there no way to crop or edit a picture in any way in OneNote?

I usually export powerpoint slides as PNGs through Powerpoint's "Change filetype" feature (which is excellent btw) and then mass insert the pictures into OneNote for note taking. Some times, slides have way too much white space that I would like to get rid of. The only way I can do that now is if I track down the PNG file, edit it, and reinsert. All we really need is access to the image editor that's available in Word and Powerpoint.

Easy enough: IN is an instrument for at least 1001 things. But it's
neither a filly-blown word processor nor a  picture editor.

The latter applications work totally different from ON (which is to be
seen if one has a look at the fantastic sharing and synching features of
IN).

If one wants to manipulate images there is no way around some graphics
tool, f.e. IrfanView[1] (which should not be missing on any computer
anyway).
