Can OneDrive work on Android like it does on PC?

I play A LOT of emulated games, and it takes up a lot of space on my phone, so I wanted to know if its possible for it to work like it does on PC?

Here is what I mean: on PC you have C/[name]/OneDrive/file, and apps can use that files without downloading it, so it wont take up any space, so I want to know if it's possible to do the same for Android, so in my files there will be an /OneDrive folder which is connected directly to cloud?

Dear, Paweł F

Welcome to the Microsoft Community. we are glad to assist you.

We understand that you are experiencing an issue with your OneDrive folder.

We'd like to explain that installation and Windows are two different systems with different devices.

On Android phones, you can go into the OneDrive client to view files, but there is no way to directly mount a folder in the cloud as part of the local file system like you can on a PC. That said, on Android, apps usually need to download files locally in order to edit or use them.

If you do need to do that, you can try to find some third-party emulators, some software can help you simulate the operation of the computer system, but you need to pay attention to the security of the software and the hardware requirements for the operation of the Android system.

You can describe your suggestions in detail in the Feedback Centre, and the development department will improve them as appropriate, and we also look forward to the emergence of new features in the OneDrive client.

Dear, Paweł F

Thank you for your reply.

Do you mean that you would like to find a third-party assistance software that can meet your needs?

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not have any software or products for this function at this time, but we do recommend that you try using a virtual machine, which you can find on the web, but is a third-party product, so we're sorry that we can't provide you with any advice on this.

Thank you for your understanding and we hope your needs can be met.

Best Regards
