Calendar reminders - noticeable delay

Has anyone else noticed this?

When a reminder pops up (Office 365 for Mac) there is a noticeable delay of sometimes north of 30 seconds from the actual time of the event.

Hi Paul,

Do you have the reminder set to remind at the start or are you comparing it to the reminders on other devices? There is definitely a delay between smartphone and desktops - I have not noticed a delay otherwise, but I usually use 15 min reminders. (Will test that next.)

Is the delay is by less than a minute, its likely related to timing. I've seen it on Windows - the clock rolls over but the reminder pops a few seconds later.

Hi Dianne,

It works (or not as the case may be) on all reminders from when they first pop up (say 15 mins) and then when snoozed to (say) 5 mins before and then the final reminder at the time of the event.

This is when new Outlook is compared with other reminders that pop up on time on my iPhone and also within the native Apple calendar.

Reminders are all showing exactly up on time (even in the 'old' Outlook), but are noticeably late in the new Outlook.

I didn't get a chance to test this yesterday - just booted my mac and will see if I can reproduce it today.

You can use in-app support (on the Help menu) to report it.
